This is a what sports are all about. The thrill of victory! Richmond Hill High School Georgia senior Jalen Murray was trailing coming down the GHSA State championship cross-country course's home stretch and his mom was cheering him on and just happened to capture it. Watch as Jalen (black & yellow uniform) over takes the lead over Jack Filan of Cambridge High School (light blue uniform) and wins the 6-A GHSA individual cross-country championship. What a finish and of course it's all from mom's eye. Mom was recording the event and yelling encouragement to her son. Murray with his finish kickwon the race and set the third fastest time on the Carrollton Course which has hosted the championships for the last twenty five years. On Wednesday November 14, 2018 Jalen signed a National Letter of Intent to run for the University of Alabama and a big thank you to Jalen's Richmond Hill High School Cross-Country Coach Levi Sybert for sharing this video with us.
